Why is SOPA/PIPA a bad thing?
Beenhearing a lot about SOPA/PIPA lately? Been wondering what it’s about and why it’s a bad thing? This video gives a clear explanation: http://bit.ly/ABBDIJ

So from what I understand the entire crisis was averted? SOPA’s not gonna happen, is it?
That’s right.
I’m confused…. what is ACTA then? the entire SOPA business ended just a few days ago and now ACTA is all over the news. What is the difference between the two? Is it just that SOPA was only American? If yes, why did we even cared about SOPA in the UK, when ACTA was the one directly affecting us?
